If I use a conferencing service to host my calls, can you do my transcription?
In a word, Yes! Documint offers a more economical option over using your conferencing provider. For them, it is an auxiliary service they feel they have to provide, but it is not their core competency. In fact, most of the time your transcription request is outsourced to another company. This means you pay more and can’t be sure your work is being done securely in North America.
We are a large scale transcription provider and transcription is our only business. We can offer the quickest, most accurate transcript for a price that is at least 30% below most conferencing companies.
Do you use offshore resources to complete my work?
All work is done by highly, qualified staff members that reside in North America. At no time in our process is your information, audio or transcript shipped offshore.
Is my work confidential?
All work processed by Documint is kept confidential. All staff members are bound by a very comprehensive Confidentiality Agreement, which is regularly reviewed by our legal staff and updated as need to meet an ever changing business environment. In addition, Documint has a proven training method and strict processes and procedures in place that make confidentiality a key component of its corporate culture and everyday working environment.
Do you have up charges for audio quality variations and multiple speakers?
We do not up charge for multiple speakers or variations in audio quality. We do offer enhanced services, which are charged per use -- question and answer only transcription, non-English transcription and translation, media dubbing, and toll recording.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Our guarantee is to provide a 98.8% accurate Documint every time. If it’s not right, we will do what it takes to make it so.
Do you identify the speaker’s in my audio?
We identify all speaker’s throughout the Documint and if a speaker is unidentifiable, we use a placeholder (Man or Woman), which is easily replaced by the end user.

How do I know how much I will be charged?
Documint uses the most equitable billing method for business transcription -- price per minute of audio. Once you decide on a turnaround and you know the actual length of your audio or conference, then you know what charges you will incur. Additional services will be added to this charge as outlined on our complete price list, which is available by contacting Documint.
Can you record a live event that is occurring in my office?
If you have a phone, Documint can record it. No matter if you are having a live event around your conference room table, having a telephone interview or team meeting on the phone or in person, Documint can record your conference. All you need to do is dial into our digital voice recorder server and conduct your event.
Can you transcribe from cassette, VHS or DVD?
Send us your hard media and we can convert it to a digital format that is just right for Documint’s transcription software. After the conversion, pick the turnaround you desire and guaranteed it will be in your inbox as needed.

We recommend using a tracked method for all media shipments -- UPS, FedEx, or Certified USPS. Documint will return all media via UPS Second Day Saver unless otherwise requested by you. Applicable shipping charge will be added to your transcription bill. |
